We always talk about Roots and Ombre extensions. But do you know what that means?? That’s okay we got you. Here is the difference between Rooted and Ombre extensions.

With rooted hair extensions, the root color will only be applied to the roots which are about one or two inches at the top of the hair. In more technical terms, rooted extensions give the hair a root smudge, so your roots will grow out more naturally.

With ombré hair extensions, the top color won’t just be applied to the roots, it will be applied lower than that as well. The first color goes down about a third of your hair then starts to fade into the lighter color.
