The Laced Hair Foundation is a registered non-profit dedicated to uplifting women experiencing hair loss. As a brand lead by hairstylists, we understand the profound influence that hair transformations play to instill confidence. We invite our sponsors, volunteers, and the Laced Hair community to collaborate with us, aiming to restore strength to our beneficiaries this Hairloss Awareness Month.

Founded by hair stylist and salon owner Lacy Gadegaard-West, she has consistently sought to support women grappling with hair loss. The foundation officially took shape after Lacy confronted personal adversities, being diagnosed with a medical illness in 2016 that led to the loss of over 70% of her hair. What seemed like "just hair" emerged as a beacon of hope, driving the motivation to overcome challenges. Lacy's vision for the Laced Foundation is to affect genuine change in people's lives. The transformative power of regaining one's confidence through temporary hair solutions is both tangible and profound. Discover how you can contribute.

Laced Hair Foundation Beneficiaries

“Laced Hair Foundation – the light at the end of the tunnel. My sister nominated me, and I was extremely surprised when I got an email saying

I was going to be a beneficiary of your program. As I have researched your program, the story behind the program, and people’s lives you have touched, I am so grateful and humble to be a recipient. Thank you so much!!"

-Abbie Nielson

"I feel so blessed to be here and so grateful that Lacy trusted herself and decided to turn her pain into power — not just for herself but for the rest of us."

-Lorie

After being nominated by her cheer coach, Annie became Laced Hair Foundation’s very first wig recipient. Her grace and poise richly define the very essence of what inspires the foundation to grow and help women in new ways.

“Hair doesn’t define me. I know I am beautiful no matter what, but the Laced Hair Foundation helped me feel like my whole self again.”

-Annie
