3 years ago Lacy Gadegaard (Owner, Laced Hair) was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Upon being admitted to the University of Utah Neuro Unit, she began infusion treatments, resulting in the loss of 70% of her hair.
While there, she spent time with other women going through treatments for cancer and multiple other autoimmune disorders. As she got to know these women, they began discussing her business, Laced Hair.
One by one, they mentioned their desire for hair extensions, however the price was out of their reach due to their large medical bills. Lacy knew her brand could help restore their confidence and was inspired to create the Laced Hair Foundation.
Six months later, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and now sits on the board for the Multiple Sclerosis Society Utah and Idaho Chapter.
The Laced Hair Foundation exists to restore confidence to women, arming them to face whatever challenges come their way.
The Laced Hair Foundation allows you to nominate yourself or someone else to be a recipient of Laced Hair Extensions at no charge.
